Located just three blocks from the beautiful
Hampton Roads Waterway!
Wythe Presbyterian Church in Hampton, VA, seeks to GLORIFY GOD by inviting the Holy Spirit into our worship. We seek dynamic and enriching worship by adding a variety of approaches to our services.
We seek to GROW DISCIPLES by welcoming and nurturing all who come to church. We applaud diversity and desire our congregation to mirror the diversity around us. We are working to create skills to attract and assimilate visitors so that they too can grow in faith and love. We are constantly creating opportunities to reach the unchurched around us.
We seek to GIVE of OURSELVES by serving God’s people. We seek to reach out to those in need in our congregation, community and world. We actively strive to increase opportunities for mission locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Operations UPDATE (as of March 13th, 2022)- Due to the continued declining numbers of COVID cases in our city/region, the high vaccination rates of our congregants, and the lower likelihood of transmission of the virus, we are pulling back our COVID protocols. This is good news friends! For those who continue to wear masks, we respect your feelings and encourage you to do what you feel necessary to stay safe and healthy. We will continue to monitor our area’s status. If we need to re-implement protocols, we will do so. So, when you come to in-person Worship and other church activities, you do not need to sign-in or sit in particular pews, etc.
For security reasons, as our preschool operates, we are continuing to keep in place the process of signing-in on weekdays at the building and not using the preschool/fellowship hall wing doors for entry to the building. Please enter the building by the Frances Wolf room/sanctuary end on weekdays and sign-in. This is to keep everyone as safe and secure as possible. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in this effort.
